National Institute of Technology Silchar offers post graduate programmes (Masters of Science and Doctorate) in the field of Applied Physics. Currently this group has seven faculty members, working in different areas of theoretical and experimental physics. The details of these programmes are provided below

POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME (M. Sc.)

The two year M.Sc. programme offered by the Department aims at encouraging significant outcome based research and critical thinking. The admission to this programme is through 'Joint Admission test for Masters' (IIT-JAM). The programme includes various theoretical and experimental courses including computational physics along with project seminars in the final year of the course.
